The real estate developer National Resources hired Mermaid, Inc. to design the brand identity and marketing collateral for the luxurious One Lighthouse Way, a new condominium and townhome development, located directly on the Hudson River.
These residences are situated near a historic lighthouse on the Hudson River. We created a brand pattern that was reminiscent of the lens used in a lighthouse, and chose colors for the pattern that reflect the sun, sky, water and gardens of this lovely development. We used this brand pattern in all the collateral materials, both as a stand-alone pattern and by combining it with the photography as an overlay. The brochure was printed on a special iridescent metallic paper stock that emphasizes the qualities of refracted light. We use the word "Reimagine," printed on the inside front cover, as the first word of the headline on each inside spread. The text pages are trimmed short so "Reimagine" shows throughout. This thematic device enables a varied repetition of the key brand concept "Reimagine Your Life."
