MISSION-DRIVEN, BLACK-OWNED FEDERAL CREDIT UNION BRANDING

The tagline became the guiding light for the branding, logo, and website design, embodying the credit union's mission of inclusivity and empowerment.

In designing the logo, we focused on incorporating a trefoil leaf in the logomark, chosen for its symbolism of unity, strength, and growth. This design element perfectly aligned with the credit union's commitment to uplift its community. The logo's design, with its symbolic trefoil leaf, was then seamlessly integrated into the website, creating a cohesive visual narrative across all platforms.

For the website, our goal was to provide an inclusive and informative online experience. We combined black and white photos of credit union members with vibrant four-color images that reflected the diverse range of services offered. This juxtaposition created a visually compelling and dynamic presentation, marrying the human element with the breadth of services provided by the credit union.

A key feature of the website was a timeline that traced the history of the Bed-Stuy community, beginning with the historical issue of redlining. This interactive element not only served as an educational tool but also underscored the credit union's deep-rooted commitment to its community. By illustrating the journey from redlining to the present, we highlighted the credit union’s relentless dedication to addressing and dismantling systemic inequalities.

Throughout this project, our aim was to weave together the brand identity, logo, and website design into a unified narrative that reflected Concord Federal Credit Union's role as a pillar of financial empowerment and community support.
